Smoking and Impotence Revealed

by editor on March 6, 2010

The unfavorable effect of smoking and the nicotine that comes with the attitude to men’s impotence has received an alarming issue worldwide. Based on research and scientific studies that lasts over a decade, there is a minimal reliable linkage between smoking and impotence among people especially men. However, despite of this concern, without a doubt, the harmful substance that is taken during smoking clogs the arteries and veins that connects the heart and the male reproductive organ. This is the primary reason why erectile dysfunction is being connected to cigarette and smoking impotence awareness is sending alarming concerns.

Researches have shown that nicotine blocks the veins that supplements blood to the male organs. And once this vein is clogged, men would experience erectile dysfunction and the inability to produce reproductive genes and substances that is ultimately resulting to impotence. To add to these discoveries, it was also stressed out that smoking among older men increases the chances of impotency than with those younger men smoking. This is because of the fact that older men are more susceptible to other life concerns which triggers impotency. I am talking about work stress, lousiness, lack of exercise and physical fatigue.

Even though facts of obviousness are visible, you would still see a growing number of men who are not affected by smoking impotence and are not afraid to ditch the bad habit of smoking. Smoking impotence does not seem to affect them despite of the enormous advertisements and anti smoking campaign focusing on the devastating effects of smoking to the over all well-being of a person particularly in men.

Or maybe tobacco promotions should start conceptualizing their advertisement warning to include a disclaimer of smoking impotence. Instead of the usual lung effect warning that smoking is bad for one’s health that are printed outside the cigarette rims, they should immediately include a statement with regards to cigarette and smoking impotence. Maybe they could put “smoking could kill you and your sperm”. For me, I think that would be a suitable warning and advertisement and might just awaken the men’s thinking on how bad smoking is.

Now matter how active the advertisements are, it would still lie on every men’s perception and sexuality as well. The initiative to quit smoking is still dependent on their selves.  There are still some close minded places that treat male supremacy as that with the ability to reproduce offspring. Many of the nations still look at the male’s ability to reproduce offspring and the gauge to please their sexual partners in terms of exotic performances as a measurement to their sexual prominence. That is why anti-smoking institutions might tap this perception and start advertising the thought that cigarette smoking might cause impotence. If the advertising campaigns on anti smoking can convince people especially men about the devastating effects of smoking in relation to their manhood, anti smoking drive might win the war. How I wish you could imagine the millions of dollars and the lives that will totally be saved if smoking will forever be eliminated and men would start to live their life in a healthy scenario. On its, economic status, this may be on a down side since tobacco and cigarette business are high yielding business. However, the loss of the business will be totally compensated by millions of lives saved.
