Detoxification of Lungs After Quitting Smoking

by editor on April 7, 2010

Nowadays, almost everybody in the world is aware about the distracting aftermath of cigarette smoking on one’s body. The most alarming of all is its effect on our lungs (not to mention other organs).

Tar is one of the primary ingredients of tobacco or cigarette which hoard inside the lungs and causes the lung cell to clot. After a while the “cilia” cells outlining your lungs will be buried by significant layers of tar.

The cilia serve as a janitor inside your lungs by eradicating toxic substances, germs and pollutants. But when the cilia are buried by tar, the person is exposed to multiple diseases that will not be experience by non-smokers.

To add to that, cigarette tar also contains numbers of poisonous substances such as carcinogens. Clinical studies have proclaimed that if you put cigarette tar on the skin of laboratory animals has acquired skin cancer at least more than half of the time.

If you try to quit smoking, the cilia of your lungs will not be bothered by ultimate levels of tar, and in due time will regain their composure and functions. Slowly, the janitors will begin to clean your lungs of the remnants left by your long term smoking. Your lungs will be cleansed by your cilia all swept entirely in ten years or so after quitting the bad habit. But there’s a process that is faster if you can’t wait that long; you have to undergo lung detoxification program.

LUNG DETOXIFICATION

Lung detoxification focuses on the natural process of cleansing with the use of natural extracts and vitamins. In other words, the process serves to crush down the particles of substances such as nicotine and tar and slowly take them out of the lungs more quickly. The detoxification program is expected to make your lungs clean in a few months or up to a maximum of one year.

This kind of treatment can often lead to unfavorable side effects, including gastrointestinal diseases. On the other hand, these effects are practically brought up and are in coherence with nicotine withdrawal symptoms.

On top of its ability to clean the treatment program also helps you battle your addiction by giving out some sort of repulsive attitude for cigarette smoking. Not only that, it can also help you in trimming down your weight, which is a somewhat a conventional problem on those who had recently ditch the bad habit of smoking.
